Rotala sp. ‘Colorata’ (Indica) is a variant of Rotala rotundifolia. In comparison with Rotala rotundifolia, this Rotala assumes an especially intensive light red to orange red color, especially if it is under good light with addition of CO2. Frequent trimming is required to get the bushy appearance.
