Microsorum pteropus or Java fern comes from Southeast Asia. Its height is 10 to approx. 20 cm. It is perfect for binding to roots or stones in the middle ground and tolerates soft to hard water. The Java fern Microsorum pteropus from the jungle streams has a permanent place in aquaristics. The long, medium green leaves of this beautiful fern grow rather slowly. Java fern is robust and fairly undemanding and does not need a lot of light.
