Anubias barteri coffeefolia is originally from West and Central Africa. It grows up to 15-25 cm high. Anubias barteri, coffeefolia is a variety that produces orange leaves when grown, later turning dark green. The initially brownish petioles and the wavy leaves are reminiscent of the foliage of the coffee shrub (Coffea), from where their name comes from. The firm dark green leaves of this slow-growing, robust and fairly undemanding aquarium plant are not well liked by herbivorous fish.
